What is combat robotics?
Combat robotics is a sport where robot enthusiasts design, model, and build robots that they drive and compete to destroy each other. A great example of this is the TV show BattleBots where builders from around the world build massive fighting robots weighing up to 110kg! New Zealand is even lucky enough to have their own BattleBot, End Game:

Combat robots can come in all shapes and sizes, with different weapons from saws to wedges and hammers, but they all are trying to completely destroy each other. Weights of common robot categories include:
- Fairyweight: 150g
- Antweight: 450g
- Beetleweight: 1.6kg
Bot Frenzy sells mostly fairyweight and antweight products (possibly even fleaweight - 75g).
Wiring
Check out this useful video to learn how to wire an antweight-style robot: wiring video.
Regular wiring includes two motors, two ESCs, a receiver, and a battery. The ESCs connect to the motors and the receiver, while the battery connects to the receiver. If this is confusing, check out the video above (wiring video) or consider purchasing a Starter Kit.
